Wednesday, May 2, 2007While luxury travel with children is the name of our game, we know that as parents, alone time with the other half is not only good but necessary. We thought: are we going to be diluting our mission here if we promote getaways without the kids? And it occurred to us: no. It’s not going to become our main focus; we’ll still be looking at family-friendly boutique hotels and upscale resorts to see how they treat you and your brood. But since every now and then you do need some down time to recharge your fabulous parenting skills, it made sense to us that, every now and then, we’d offer some options to you here – a sort of one-stop shopping as it were. Of course, the web abounds with deals galore: we’ll be looking mainly at weekend trips to luxury properties that offer relaxation and a touch or two of romance.
