Cute in Any Language

With the American penchant for t-shirts with cute (or sarcastic) sayings, it’s no wonder that today’s parents often want their kids to sport tees with a contemporary vibe. Over at Il Cocco di Mamma, we found some tees that can either express your child’s heritage or show off his international itinerary. Choose from 10 altogether (including a few in organic cotton): “ciao”, “c’est la vie” and “Que pasa?” are just a few. Imprinted with sayings in different languages, these shirts, in 6 months to 24 months, manage to be hip without being over the top “adult”. Really - does a 1 year old need to proclaim that “Chicks dig me” or that they’re “Drama Queens”?
The site has a lot more than just shirts. Going to Spain or Latin America? Bone up on your Spanish with El Gato con Sombrero Viene de Nuevo - known to you as The Cat in the Hat Comes Back. We also like the retro wooden alphabet blocks in Russian, Greek, and other languages. Oh, your little il cocco di mamma (mama’s boy) will be so pleased…

tees, $24; blocks, $35
