Luxury Babymoon – Mandarin Oriental, New York
Tuesday, June 5, 2007We’ve posted about our prenatal massage (and even better sleep-inducing lavender scrub) at the Oasis Day Spa in NYC, but for those out-of-towners who need more of an excuse to visit (as well as New Yorkers who could stand some extended pampering), the Mandarin Oriental, New York, has a package for parents-in-waiting that comes with a hefty price tag. Still, if you’re really seeking a luxury babymoon in New York, there’s few places you’ll feel more decadent than the Mandarin Oriental.

Parents-to-be will receive:
- A welcome basket of cider and chocolate dipped strawberries
- A basket filled with lotions and potions for Mom-to-be
- Two hours of spa treatments for Mommy & Daddy
- American breakfast for two
- Room-with-a-view accommodations (as opposed to just standard city view rooms)
Rooms for these packages have state of the art entertainment systems that include surround sound and high definition flat panel TVs. If you absolutely must work, you’ll find WiFi access and a safe that holds and recharges your laptop (with your charger). But since babymoons should be all about relaxing, you’ll definitely enjoy the luxurious Italian linens, plush bathrobes and slippers, and bathtubs that feature LCD TVs.
Rates start at $2175 per night for a Hudson River View Room and go up to $2950 per night for a Mandarin Executive Suite. The babymoon package is available until December 30. For more information or to reserve it, click here or call the Mandarin Oriental reservation line at 866.526.6567
