On the Mend
Thursday, September 20, 2007Once, while we were away on vacation, we went to put on our favorite pair of linen pants for dinner, only to discover that said linen pants were ripping at a seam. We sent them out to be repaired but had to suffer through dinner wearing a not-so-favorite pair of pants. (Not to mention the ridiculous tailoring bill from the hotel…)
Okay, high tragedy this is not. But this type of thing has actually happened to us – and more than once. So we can appreciate this mending kit from Cath Kidston that we found over at Delight.com. The packaging is much nicer than the crappy drugstore kits, meaning we’ll probably remember to take it with us. And the included basic sewing instructions are so helpful for those who can’t sew a stitch. (That includes us and probably you too.)
