Most of our featured romantic getaways are for weekends, since a quick jaunt can happen a little more spontaneously than a full-blown trip overseas sans kids. Amanyara features the expected minimal tropical design that Aman resorts are noted for. At this property, water sports are par for the course with a beach club that can outfit you with Hobies, ocean kayaks and snorkeling equipment. Accommodations, all pavilions, are stunning in design. Some lie within the resort’s vegetation; pond pavilions sit on the edge of tranquil ponds, and ocean pavilions are located on the oceanfront with pathways leading to the rocks overlooking the sea. Each pavilion has a terraced entrance complete with two daybeds for lounging. Inside are king-size beds on raised platforms and a color scheme of beige, taupe, cream and blue. Two extra terraces provide more private areas to lounge, one with a sunken table for alfresco dining.

Your 7-night Romance at Amanyara package starts the pampering immediately upon arrival, with offerings of champagne, chocolate truffles and fresh fruit, which sets the service note admirably. This decadent getaway includes:
