We could so use a babymoon right now – but given that we are 39 weeks pregnant and live on the East Coast, we don’t think we’ll be making it to any luxury babymoon in Houston before baby arrives… But for those of you still in the glowing second trimester and able to travel – or for those of you close to Houston – this is for you!

From Juliana at HotelChatter: we’ve learned that several Texan Omni properties will now feature kids’ suites. These come brightly decorated with beanbags, twin beds (for the kids, that is) and an assortment of toys and “kid” stuff. Select properties in Austin, Corpus Christi, Houston, Dallas and San Antonio will feature the new digs , and you can also find suites at their L.A, San Francisco and San Diego posts, which debuted similar family accommodations in 2005 .
